Yesterday I picked up brand new Phototrap remote triggering system from Slovenian Customs. It is a device used for trip wire photography. I used similar home made device in the past to photograph songbirds in flight, but I had quite some problems with it, so I decide to purchase commercial product. After quite some Internet research, I decide on Phototrap. This device has advantage over similar products, because it doesn't need a reflector for its operation. And in the field positioning the reflector can sometimes be quite difficult. Bill Forbes the maker of the device is a great guy to deal with and so far I'm glad that I decide to buy his product.
